Basically, the Variable speed controller will convert single phase power at point of input to three phase power on output. This will allow you to run three phase milk pump motors. Other benefits include:

1) True variable speed calculations, not just running at a set level for a particular milk level.
2) If one pump ever dies, this system will control the other to allow you to keep milking.
